Bloom
Living in a bustling city, which is currently almost unbearably hot, a stay at my parents' house in the countryside always feels like a little holiday. The air is cleaner, the temperature is slightly more pleasant and life moves a little slower. I've also found a new appreciation for their lovely garden.
I tried to capture and conserve the beauty of the flowers before they are going to wither away. I used my Fujifilm X-S10 for these shots, equipped with a TTArtisan 50mm and a Fujifilm 32mm lens, as I'm trying to use this little camera more often. I'm planning to bring it with me to Sardinia in September to get some video footage. It offers in-body-stabilization and the ability to record Log, which makes the files way more flexible for color-grading (or so I've heard - I'm still a beginner in the video field).
However, as much as I love the form-factor of this camera and the shooting experience, I'm not happy yet with the images I get out of it. This is the case for me with almost every Fujifilm camera I've used though. I've been a Nikon shooter for many years, so it's hard for me to get the files to look how I want them to colour-wise. Do you have any experience with this? If you do, let me know in the comments!
